INTERNATIONAL CROCHET DAY

Welcome to our 4th Annual International Crochet Day Gathering.
A Free day of yarny, hooky goodness as we participate in crochet workshops, enjoy the crocheted Show N Tell and an opportunity to destash your stash with a swap and sell stall.
Bring a plate, bring a friend, bring a project. Free workshops thanks to the Warburton and Yarra Junction Community Bank Branches and Free entry thanks to the Yarra Ranges Council.
WORKSHOP DETAILS
Workshops will strictly follow the time schedule and are limited to 8 participants per workshop.
WE WILL RUN 2 SESSIONS FOR EACH WORKSHOP THROUGHOUT THE DAY.
SESSION 1 RUNS FROM 11.30 TIL 1.00
SESSION 2 RUNS FROM 1.30 TIL 3.00
There is a limit of 8 guests per workshop.
WORKSHOPS ARE FREE WITH MATERIALS INCLUDED
* BEGINNERS CROCHET- Learn the very basics right from the start with experienced crocheter, Melinda Duncan
* INTRODUCTION TO TUNISIAN CROCHET- Add this crochet technique to your repertoire with Shara Lambeth Designs
* CREATE A POSY COZY - learn to make a magic circle, crochet in the round and seamless colour change to create a lovely little cozy for your posy jar with Jenny Scammell
* CROCHET A MARKET BAG with Plastic Bag Free Warburton. Get rid of those environment destroying plastic bags and replace them with a 'gotta have one' crochet market bag.
* T-SHIRT YARN- Learn to create t-shirt yarn from preloved t-shirts and then crochet it into a bowl for you to take home. Very 'on-trend' at the moment! With Anthea Marie from Full Tilt Nanna.
